Hi! I’m Jannik, a passionate artist manager and music business enthusiast.

After a 13-year career as a professional musician, I transitioned into the music management space in 2015 with co-founding the company House of Hearth, under which I started to manage the Swiss artist James Gruntz, whose albums are repeatedly featured in the Swiss Charts and have won him two Swiss Music Awards. Over almost a decade of managing James Gruntz — with highlights including placements in Netflix and Facebook series, an ESPN TV ad in the US, and a brand partnership with the French car manufacturer Citroën — he consistently played around 60 shows a year and was signed to two different Swiss record labels. In 2025, I chose to bring this long-standing collaboration to a close in order to take on new challenges and focus on developing the career of other artists.

In 2020 I decided to found tillride – my own music management company. This paved the way for further collaborations and engagements such as my work for the renowned Zermatt Unplugged Festival, for which I launched their Academy as host and program manager. In this exclusive and interactive academy program, I'm connecting musicians and industry professionals from all around the globe to enable exchange among the participants and to advance the careers of up-and-coming artists.

Under tillride, I also started to work as a consultant for various artists over the past few years. Here I'm working selectively on each artist’s individual stage of development and addressing their specific needs.

I am currently managing two Swiss acts: Noemi Beza, one of Switzerland’s most promising new voices, who has gone from performing at major festivals as a teenager to achieving a Top 3 Swiss radio hit and signing with Universal Music Switzerland, and Alena Mae, whose warm voice and thoughtful lyrics create space for those who seek calm, depth, and genuine stories in a noisy world.

In all of my endeavors, I take a hands-on approach. With experience both on the management and artist side of the business, I’m used to being the connective tissue between the different strands of an artist’s career.

I’ve always enjoyed assuming responsibility, organizing things, taking things seriously, and advancing projects by choosing disruptive and innovative approaches.
